Ayana V. Jackson
Su obra forma parte de importantes colecciones internacionales, entre ellas las del Hessel Museum of Art, Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (Annandale-on-Hudson, Nueva York); Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art (Bentonville, Arkansas); Fondation Blachère (Bonnieux, Francia); Musée de la Roche-sur-Yon (La Roche-sur-Yon, Francia); JPMorgan Chase Art Collection (Nueva York, Nueva York); Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden (Marrakech, Marruecos); National Gallery of Victoria (Melbourne, Australia); National Museum of African Art, Smithsonian Institution (Washington, DC); Pérez Art Museum Miami (Miami, Florida); Princeton University Art Museum (Princeton, Nueva Jerswy); Sprengel Museum Hannover (Hannover, Alemania); The Studio Museum in Harlem (Nueva York, Nueva York); y Museo Nacional de Antropología (Madrid, España).
Su primera gran exposición institucional, From the Deep: In the Wake of Drexciya, se inauguró en el Smithsonian National Museum of African Art (Washington, DC) en 2023. La exposición viajará al Museum of Anthropology de la University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC, Canadá) en 2026, al Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (Detroit, Michigan) en 2027 y al Spelman College Museum of Fine Art (Atlanta, Georgia) en 2028. Entre sus exposiciones individuales recientes se encuentran Nosce Te Ipsum: Membrum Fantasma en el Museo Nacional de Antropología (Madrid, España) y The Good News Is Delivered Not on Mountaintops but in Clearings en la Abbaye de Montmajour, como parte de Rencontres d’Arles 2026 (Arles, Francia).
