Mariane Ibrahim Moves to Chicago

Mariane Ibrahim Gallery will open a new flagship space in Chicago after closing its headquarters in Seattle.

“Our decision to move the gallery to Chicago stemmed from our interest in the city's diverse artistic community, one that is a rarity in the United States,” Ibrahim said in a statement. The space is in West Town and designed by Chicago-based architecture firm Lamar Johnson Collaborative. It will open in September with a solo exhibition on artist Ayana V. Jackson."
