Editor in Chief Jacqueline Terrebonne Shares Highlights from the Artful Escapes Issue
For the summer Artful Escapes issue of Galerie Magazine, editor in chief Jacqueline Terrebonne shares a selection of stories centered on travel, design, and contemporary art. The issue features homes from East Hampton to the South of France, the fifth anniversary of the Peter Marino Art Foundation, and a global travel portfolio highlighting destinations such as Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, Germany. Terrebonne also reflects on visiting the East Hampton home of Galerie founder Lisa Fayne Cohen, redesigned with architect and designer Scott Sanders.
The last focus of the issue is the Venice Biennale, presented as one of the season’s key international cultural destinations. Among the artists highlighted is Big Chief Demond Melancon, whose beaded work Ashanti Baako (One), (2023) is featured for its intricate craftsmanship and cultural resonance.
