“In Lo que nos llama (What Calls Us), Clotilde Jiménez transforms the Hermès Molière windows into a journey that explores travel as an experience of discovery, identity, and transformation. Through collage, color, and the reinterpretation of objects and materials, the artist creates a three-part narrative: The Call, The Preparation, and The Arrival, with each scene representing a stage along the path into the unknown. Inspired by the maison’s annual theme, Venture Beyond, the installation incorporates Hermès elements into a visual universe that blends imagination, memory, and movement. With a delicate color palette and an introspective approach, Jiménez reminds us that embarking on a journey also means exploring our inner selves and discovering new versions of who we are.”
