Nã Agôtimé also displays a black woman placed in a classical portrait. There is a strange looking object in the work, which is actually a banner. On the banner, Dalton adds a dove which is not only the symbol of freedom but also the symbol of black congregation in Brazil at the time. This work shows that the black population in Brazil at the time was actively fighting for their freedom and empowerment.
