Flowers and a Seat at the Table is a work that I present to the gallery as if it were a real bouquet of flowers. It is a symbol of gratitude, recognition of how far we have come, and an affirmation of having a seat at the table that we’ve created.
Using an arrangement of bright flowers that seem to be alive, I want them to appear to reach up into and out to the viewer as if celebrating. On top of the seat is a lone rose ????… left for you.
