Méditation shifts into a nocturnal register: under a luminous moon, the forest and river become sites of introspection, where ritual, smoke, and shadow suggest a contemplative pause within history’s ongoing turmoil. The works exemplify Gamarra’s non-narrative history painting, in which landscapes function as living archives where past and present coexist, and domination gives way to reflection and ambiguity.
