The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg presents a significant research-based exhibition titled Empowerment. Open from September 10, 2022 to January 08, 2023, the exhibition is based on the central thesis that broadly conceived and imagined feminisms are the most progressive methods to analyse the world through. The exhibition will show feminist works and activist positions from the 21st century that question social inequality, sexism, racism, and anti-Semitism. Several international scholars, curators, and artists are initiated in Empowerment to redefine the relationship between bodies, technology, politics, and ecological issues from post- and decolonial, anti-racist, migratory, diverse, and intersectional perspectives.
Participating artists include Laetitia Ky, XIAO Lu, Zohra Opoku and many more.
