For the exhibition Yukimasa Ida visits Pablo Picasso, the first exhibition of an Asian artist, held at the Picasso Museum in Spain, the artist produced many works that are tributes to the late Pablo Picasso. Yukimasa regards Picasso as one of the greatest artist of the 20th century. In making the large scale paintings, and sculpture, he has sought to understand what Picasso was thinking, feeling, and ceaselessly putting forth, while superimposing these qualities over his own experience and practice.
