recurring diving forms. always thinking about direction, movement, flow. the shapes that are made in-between. moving the eye across the page and then ___________. it stops. or falls off the edge. or breaks in a way that isn't balanced [but also is]. playing with expanding the ways in which the various forms show up. here are three, of the seven, elements occupying the same space. the seven - [in alphabetical order] ada, audre, architecture, bike, birds, paper, pool in different combinations. iterations of a pool - from ink, to screenprint to collage. or an architectural form. from out of context lines, to windows to aerial views. in this piece, architecture got to play a little. cut varnished paper as a white silhouette on paper. i love paper so much. so any collage for me is this - just paper as the form. the image is the paper alone.
