As part of the Aisha in Wonderland series, Guerresi focused on portraying young characters from second-generation Moroccan and Senegalese families who settled in Veneto (a northeastern Italian region). Aisha's Story 1, 2016, visually portrays the dual cultural identity of these families through a contrast of distinctive landscapes, notably featuring an African Baobab tree and vivid green hues reminiscent of the valleys of Veneto.

The character, Aisha, harmonizes with the surrounding environment, wearing a green cloak adorned with calligraphy and vegetal decorations. Her statuesque and hieratic pose embodies both a defense mechanism and the strength and wisdom of a warrior in waiting.
