Amanze’s works on paper comprise a number of recurring elements (swimming pools, divers, dancers, windows, birds, motorbikes…). Human-like beings and inanimate objects ultimately share the same function; flat forms that interact and move in endless configurations to create a multi-dimensional and therefore, illogical space. The works engage the viewers with a blended vision of architecture, choreography and fantasy. Amanze’s drawings are an illusion; a suggestion of an expansive unnamed world situated between nowhere and everywhere.
