Mariane Ibrahim is proud to present the work of Lorraine O’Grady at a solo booth for our second participation in Paris Photo this November, through two seminal series: Miscegenated Family Album (1980-1994) and Announcement of a New Persona (2020). In bringing together these two distinct yet thematically intertwined series at Paris Photo, O’Grady offers a powerful commentary on the ways in which identity is built, exploring the possibilities for its deconstruction.
