Mariane Ibrahim is pleased to announce our participation at Frieze London 2024 presenting in booth #AA5, a solo presentation of new work by Peter Uka. Showcasing the artist’s signature nearly life-sized figurative oil paintings on canvas, drawing from his childhood memories of Nigeria, this show marks Uka’s first major presentation in London.
Frieze London, held annually in October at The Regent’s Park, showcases leading contemporary and modern art galleries. This year's fair will host over 160 galleries from 43 countries. A cornerstone of the fair is Artist-to-Artist, reintroduced in 2024 after debuting in 2023, featuring six solo presentations selected by world-renowned artists such as Hurvin Anderson, who chose Uka for this year's program.
