NOV 5 – DEC 23, 2015
Through the works of artists of African descent who have lived between their native countries and their adopted homes in the United States and Europe, Remember to Come Back explores the notion of departure as a possible point of a return. The exhibition grapples with themes of exile, refuge, and assimilation. The recent mass migrations from Africa and the Middle East to Europe, desperate attempts to reach the old continent with hopes of a new and better life, have received much attention in the media.
